WILMINGTON, Delaware (January 6, 2011) – Gregory P. Williams, a director of Richards, Layton & Finger in Wilmington, Delaware, has recently been named a neutral of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The AAA is the nation’s leading provider of alternative dispute resolution, and its national roster of neutrals consists of accomplished and respected experts from the legal and business communities. One of only eight neutrals in Delaware, Williams was asked to serve as an AAA arbitrator because of his exceptional qualifications, accomplishments and professional stature.

He also represents committees of boards of directors formed to negotiate transactions or investigate alleged corporate wrongdoing.

Chair of Richards Layton’s Corporate Department and immediate past president of the firm, Williams is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the appointed chair of the Delaware Court of Chancery Rules Committee. His many accolades include recognition in The Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA.
