Richards, Layton & Finger Director Appointed Deputy President for Hispanic National Bar Association

WILMINGTON, Delaware (September 25, 2014) – Marcos A. Ramos, a director of Richards, Layton & Finger, has been appointed by the Hispanic National Bar Association to serve as a deputy president for Region IV (Delaware and Pennsylvania). The Hispanic National Bar Association is a nonprofit, national membership association that represents the interests of Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, law students and legal professionals in the United States and its territories.

“The HNBA is doing vital work to promote justice and economic and social advancement,” said Doneene Damon, chair of Richards, Layton & Finger’s Diversity Committee, “and we congratulate Marcos on his appointment to leadership in this important organization.”

Mr. Ramos is a litigator and bankruptcy professional whose practice is focused on proceedings in the Delaware Bankruptcy and District Courts, and he provides counsel to U.S. and non-U.S. clients in other matters arising under or related to Delaware law, practice, procedure and courts. Mr. Ramos is a co-founder and former president of the Delaware Hispanic Bar Association and Chairman of the New Castle County Diversity Commission.
