Benjamin Esparza focuses primarily on litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery involving fiduciary duties, corporate governance and control, contractual disputes, and other commercial disputes.

During law school, Benjamin worked on white-collar criminal investigations and prosecutions as an intern in the Special Prosecutions Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. He also participated in Boston University’s Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he advised students and start-ups at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on corporate entity formation, start-up issues, contract drafting, venture funding, and how to protect intellectual property rights.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Benjamin worked in higher education as a college admissions officer and remains passionate about issues related to education and college access.

Benjamin lived in Mexico for 15 years and is fluent in Spanish.
