John Fitzgerald focuses his practice on transactional matters relating to Delaware alternative entities, including limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and general partnerships. John renders advice and legal opinions in connection with structured finance transactions, investment funds, and other matters relating to issues of formation, operation, governance, dissolution, and enforceability.

In law school, John served as lead articles editor of the Washington and Lee Law Review and as managing editor of The Law News. He also competed in internal and external moot court competitions, winning both the Washington and Lee Representation in Mediation Competition and the regional ABA Representation in Mediation Competition. John served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John A. Parkins Jr. of the Delaware Superior Court.
