Matthew Kent focuses his practice on the formation and administration of Delaware statutory trusts in connection with asset securitization, debt restructuring, and investment fund liquidation. Matthew also advices financial institutions and trust companies acting as owner trustees, custodians, and other capacities in complex financial transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Matthew served in the U.S. Air Force as a Security Forces member. He was selected to be a military police investigator and later, through a collaboration with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, chosen to be an investigator on the Joint Sexual Assault Team. While serving in the military Matthew earned two Air Force Achievement Medals for deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as the John L. Levitow Award, the highest award for enlisted Professional Military Education.
