Valerie Caras focuses her practice on commercial and intellectual property litigation in Delaware’s state and federal courts.

In law school, Valerie served as editor-in-chief of the Villanova Law Review. She was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Kent A. Jordan, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and to the Honorable Susan E. Schwab, United States Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. At graduation, Valerie received the Hyman-Goodman Award for doing “the most for the class and the Law School through both academic and extracurricular achievement.” She also received the Dorothy Day Award for completing more than 40 hours of pro bono service.

Prior to attending law school, Valerie served as a spokesperson to former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett and worked on a number of political campaigns in Pennsylvania.
