Judge Abigail M. LeGrow will replace Judge William C. Carpenter, Jr. on the Delaware Superior Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division (“CCLD”) panel, effective July 1, 2018. Judge LeGrow was appointed by then-Chancellor Leo E. Strine, Jr. to serve as Master in Chancery on the Delaware Court of Chancery in 2011, a position she held until her appointment to the Superior Court. While serving as a master, Judge LeGrow presided over summary corporate cases, trust and estate matters, real property disputes, adult guardianship petitions, and various matters specifically assigned to her by the Chancellor. See, e.g., Allan Wagamon, et al v. David B. Dolan, et al., C.A. No. 5594-MG (concerning winding up a joint venture). Since her appointment to the Superior Court, Judge LeGrow has handled breach of contract actions, medical negligence actions, and insurance coverage disputes. Judge LeGrow joins judges Mary M. Johnston, Eric M. Davis, and Paul R. Wallace on the CCLD panel.
