Overview

Donald Zeman gained valuable experience working for a prominent corporate trust institution.

Don focuses his practice on the formation and administration of Delaware common law and statutory trusts, including series trusts, in connection with complex financial transactions.  He renders advice to financial institutions and trust companies acting as owner trustee, indenture trustee, paying agent, transfer agent, verification agent, and custodian in connection with asset-backed securitizations, loan facilities, warehouse financings, and other financing arrangements.

Don also renders advice to financial institutions, trust companies, corporate service providers, and other entities regarding regulatory matters, including matters arising under the Volcker Rule, the U.S.A. Patriot Act and Customer Due Diligence Rule, and the Corporate Transparency Act.

Prior to joining Richards, Layton & Finger, Don was a vice president at a leading corporate trust institution, where he managed compliance operations and oversaw administration of regulatory and compliance activities for the trust business.
