Overview
Grant Kulonda helps banks and other financial institutions navigate complex regulatory environments.
Grant focuses his practice on the formation and administration of Delaware statutory trusts in connection with securitizations, debt restructuring, and multi-series mutual funds. He advises financial institutions and trust companies acting as owner trustee, indenture trustee, or in other representative capacities in complex financial transactions. Grant also renders advice to financial institutions, corporate service providers, and other entities regarding regulatory matters arising under the Corporate Transparency Act, USA Patriot Act, and Customer Due Diligence Rule.
Prior to joining Richards, Layton & Finger, Grant oversaw regulatory and compliance activities for institutional clients at a top Delaware trust company. In law school, Grant was a senior editor of the Drexel Law Review and president of the Transactional Lawyering Team.
