Overview
Katie Reese Upadhyay clerked for the Honorable Mary M. Johnston in the Delaware Superior Court.
Katie focuses her practice on the formation and administration of Delaware statutory trusts in connection with securitizations, debt restructuring, and multi-series mutual funds. She also advises financial institutions and trust companies acting as indenture trustees, owner trustees, master servicers, paying agents, or in other representative capacities in complex financial transactions.
In law school, Katie served as the Head Kirgis Fellow, leading the mentorship and orientation program for first-year students. She was an intern at the Delaware Department of Justice and at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
Prior to joining the firm, Katie clerked in the Delaware Superior Court, working primarily with cases in the Complex Commercial Litigation Division.
