Bill focuses his practice on a wide variety of commercial transactions and insurance regulatory matters. His commercial practice includes
His insurance regulatory practice involves
- insurance company and agency formation,
- insurance holding company system registrations,
- change of control transactions (including mergers and acquisitions), and
- approval of insurer investments.
Bill also assists clients with the formation, structuring, and operation of Delaware limited partnerships, general partnerships, limited liability companies, and statutory trusts.
As a member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Uniform Commercial Code Committee, Bill worked on the subcommittee that reviewed Delaware’s version of Revised Article 9 prior to its adoption. In addition, he has participated in drafting amendments to the Delaware Uniform Commercial Code that have benefited securitization practice in Delaware.
Prior to entering law school, Bill was a certified public accountant in the State of Pennsylvania.
