Four Richards, Layton & Finger Directors Named in The International Who’s Who of Merger & Acquisition Lawyers

WILMINGTON, Delaware – Four Richards, Layton & Finger directors, C. Stephen Bigler, Donald A. Bussard, Jesse A. Finkelstein and Mark J. Gentile, have been named in The International Who’s Who of Merger & Acquisition Lawyers 2008. The product of extensive research with leading lawyers as well as clients worldwide, this guide recognizes practitioners who have been selected by their peers as the world’s foremost merger and acquisition lawyers. The International Who’s Who of Merger & Acquisition Lawyers will be published in July and will later be a chapter in the 2009 compendium volume The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, to be published next spring.
C. Stephen Bigler, executive vice president of Richards, Layton & Finger and a member of its corporate transactional group, counsels corporations, officers, directors, board committees, stockholders and investors on matters involving Delaware’s General Corporation Law and related issues in a wide variety of transactional and operational contexts. Bigler graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University and earned a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Donald A. Bussard, senior member of the firm’s corporate transactional group, advises corporations, boards of directors and board committees in connection with mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, stock issuances, stockholders’ meetings and relations, and corporate governance matters. After receiving a BA from Williams College, Bussard earned a JD from Temple University School of Law.
Jesse A. Finkelstein provides corporate governance, transactional, merger and acquisition, and control dispute advice to clients, and represents both corporate and individual clients in complex or high-stakes litigation. His practice also includes the representation of special and standing board committees and corporate investigations. Finkelstein graduated from the University of Rochester and Boston College Law School.
Mark J. Gentile, a member of the firm’s corporate advisory group, advises corporations, officers, directors, board committees and stockholders in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations and corporate governance issues. Gentile earned a BS from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a JD, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.
