Kelly Farnan Named Managing IP’s Delaware Litigator of the Year

WILMINGTON, Delaware (April 25, 2025) – Richards, Layton & Finger director Kelly E. Farnan has received the prestigious 2025 Managing IP Litigator of the Year (Delaware) award. Managing IP, which provides news and analysis on intellectual property developments around the world, annually recognizes the firms, individuals, and corporations behind the year’s most innovative and challenging IP work.

She is a deeply experienced litigator representing clients in complex commercial litigation and high-stakes intellectual property disputes in Delaware’s state and federal courts. Kelly has earned the highest Band 1 ranking in Chambers USA, which has reported that she is “a great advocate” who has “instant credibility whenever she enters the courtroom.” Known for her strategic mindset and ability to deliver results through trial, dispositive motion practice, and arbitration, Kelly has led teams to successful outcomes in many bench and jury trials. In addition to her focus on patent litigation, Kelly litigates matters relating to trade secrets, product liability, non-compete agreements, and intellectual property law.
