Richards Layton Joins Harvey Recovery Efforts

WILMINGTON, Delaware (September 6, 2017) – The lawyers and staff of Richards, Layton & Finger joined forces last week to help flood victims in Houston. The firm pledged to match individual donations to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which is providing goods and services to those in need. Firm employees donated $12,400 in a single day, and with the firm’s matching contribution, Richards Layton and its employees have contributed $24,800 to Houston relief efforts.
“Our hearts go out to everyone in the region who is suffering from the devastation brought by Hurricane Harvey, and we’re honored to do our part to help in the hard work of rebuilding lives, homes, and communities after this tragedy,” said Gregory Varallo, president of Richards Layton. “Our firm holds monthly fundraisers to support a variety of local and national charities, and I’m always deeply gratified by our employees’ generous contributions. I’m proud to report that this month, our Hurricane Harvey fundraiser raised ten times the normal amount.”
