WILMINGTON, Delaware – Twelve Richards, Layton & Finger associates were admitted to the Delaware bar on December 11, 2008. The attorneys are Margot F. Alicks, Joseph L. Christensen, Stephen M. Ferguson, Andrew C. Irgens, Tiphanie P. Miller, Emily S. Preslar, T. Max Riffin, Sarah R. Stafford, Aaron W. Stewart, Vincent R. Versagli III, Michelle E. Whalen and Peter C. Wood, Jr. The attorneys were admitted to practice in the State of Delaware by the Delaware Supreme Court in a ceremony at the Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover. To be admitted to the Delaware bar, applicants must have graduated from an ABA-approved law school, passed the Delaware bar examination, and completed a clerkship requirement.
Alicks, Ferguson, Miller, Preslar and Versagli practice in Richards, Layton & Finger’s business department. Irgens and Riffin work with the bankruptcy and restructuring group, and Stafford and Whalen practice in the litigation department. Christensen, Stewart and Wood work in the firm’s corporate department.
