WILMINGTON, Delaware (August 17, 2017) – Richards, Layton & Finger directors Paul Altman and Melissa Stubenberg have been named in Who’s Who Legal 2018 as two of the world’s leading private fund formation lawyers. Mr. Altman and Ms. Stubenberg are among only three Delaware lawyers named on the Who’s Who Private Funds list.
Mr. Altman, head of Richards Layton’s Limited Liability Company and Partnership Advisory Group, is an acknowledged authority regarding the formation of private investment funds. He is an emeritus member and past chair of the committee responsible for monitoring and reviewing Delaware’s LLC and partnership statutes. Mr. Altman coauthored the leading treatise in the field, Lubaroff & Altman on Delaware Limited Partnerships.
Ms. Stubenberg has served as Delaware counsel on numerous cutting-edge transactions, high-profile private deal restructurings, and management buy-outs.
